Flat bar
Stainless steel strip or flat bar material, hot-rolled and slit, is a common semi-finished product used in various industrial sectors. The material is manufactured using a hot-rolling process, followed by the slitting (longitudinal cutting) process. This results in strips of stainless steel with a specific width. With a slit version, the length is always 4 meters but with a hot-rolled version it can vary!
Material:
Made of high-quality stainless steels, such as 304 and 316.
Excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments.
Slitted:
Precision longitudinal cutting creates strips with tight and straight edges.
Widths can range from a few millimeters to several hundred millimeters.
Lengths are 4 meters as standard
Hot-rolled:
The material is rolled at high temperatures, resulting in a rough, matt finish.
Thicknesses typically range from 1.5 mm to 10 mm (depending on specifications).
Lengths vary.
Applications:
Construction and building (e.g. profiles and cladding).
Machine building and equipment.
Storage and transport sector (e.g. for tanks and containers).
