Mapress compensators
Geberit Mapress
For various liquids and gases, Geberit Mapress has developed a complete piping system. Installation of the special fittings is easy using the corresponding pressing tool.
This press connection is not only faster and simpler than conventional connection methods, but also minimises processing errors, allowing Geberit to provide a guarantee.
It is ideal for installations in used/occupied buildings or in laboratories and production halls with specific cleanliness requirements.
There is no fire risk, enabling safe installation in explosion-proof areas.
Mapress is applicable in different areas such as:
- Drinking water (with the exception of Mapress Therm)
- Cleaning fluids
- Compressed air and (saturated) steam
- Technical gases
- Cooling medium
- Oil, fats and fuels
According to EN1935:2004, Mapress cannot be used to transport food & dairy products.
Mapress is available in various materials, of which SKS has included the stainless steel part in its supply programme.
Mapress is available with different seals that are interchangeable. The different seals are:
- CIIR black
- FKM blue
- FKM white
- HNBR yellow (Mapress Gas)
