Applying the Kieselmann Check Valve
The non-return valves of Kieselmann can be used for gas and liquid applications in various industries such as Pharma and food applications. The Kieselmann check valve is available in sizes DN10 to DN100 and OD sizes 1" - 4". They are available in a weld/weld, between flanges and a weld/thread (male part) version according to DIN 11850/DIN 11851.
A check valve, or non return valve, is a valve that prevents the fluid from flowing backwards and ensures that it flows in only one direction. It can be used to prevent the loss of prime of the pump and water hammer. The valve is widely used in water loops.
The type 5083 is a new compact designed check valve. This check valve is mounted between the well known Kieselmann K-Flex flanges.
