Applying the Alfa Laval Regulating Valve RV-P
The Alfa Laval regulating valve Unique RVP is the successor of the SPC series.The RV-P is an hygienic electro-pneumatic control valve. These valves can be used in applications where precision of pressure, flow, temperature and tank levels are required. An RV-P is remotely controllable by means of eiter an electrical signal or pneumatic signal.The IP converter is standard in the actuator, and converts an electrical signal into a pneumatic signal. This signal is based on a highly accurate and reliable AMR sensor, this makes it suitable to vibration and shock. A pneumatic signal is transmitted to the integrated positioner which operates by means of the balance principle, so that the position of the actuator piston is directly proportional to the input signal. Signal range and zero point can be set individually. The actuator can be used split-range control with the aid of a different measuring spring.
