Applying the Alfa Laval Koltek Plug Valve MH
A sanitary Koltek plug valve from Alfa Laval is often used in the food industry where standard seat valves do not comply. The specific construction of the valve in combination with the robust PTFE plug makes the valve relatively insensitive to adhesion. The Alfa Laval Koltek plug valve is available as a change-over valve (type MH53) and is controlled by either a manually operating or pneumatic actuator (type KH630, KH631, KH632 and KH633). This valve is made of 316L stainless steel and fitted with EPDM sealing. Optionally, the shut-off valve can be provided with sealing material NBR or FPM. Moreover the valve can be performed with an enhanced plug or a double-walled bottom in preparation for heating of the valve body. Available in the dimensions 1/2 "- 4" and DN25 - DN100.
