M&S Air relief valves
Applying the M&S Air Relief Valve
The Stainless Steel Air Relief Valve from M&S is especially made in order to relief air out of tubes in a hygienic process. This “simple” valve is made of a stainless steel housing with a manually operated swivel system and a PTFE membrane to control the air relief. The operation of the valve works as following: by turning the swivel the PTFE membrane will open upwards. The air will relief at the exhaust side. The valve is made of stainless steel 304 or 316L with an internal roughness of Ra < 1.6 µm.
The seal between the housing and the swivel system is made of a NBR O-ring. The membrane is completely manufactured out of PTFE. The valve is available in sizes DN6, DN8, DN10 and DN20.
